Vauxhall Mokka – Coolant Loss Diagnoses
A customer with a Vauxhall Mokka booked in with consistent coolant loss, regardless of conditions they were driving in. Following a pressure test on the complete cooling system we found the radiator core to have a significant leak. The job itself was actually quite time consuming because the design the car is such, that the radiator is very hidden. The gearbox cooler is at the top, the air conditioning rad at the front and the turbo inter-cooler at the bottom. After removing the slam panel, top cowling, radiator fans and front bumper we were able to actually see the offending article. Using the best parts we could find we were able to swap it out and start the assembly process. After bleeding the system and a comprehensive road test the car was ready for the customer to collect. Nobody likes a Leaky Mokka! Happy customer…
