This particular example is a Toyota MR2 Mk2 which failed it’s MOT on host of required bodywork.
Here we can see rust to the outer-rear sill.
All old affected metal & rust is cut away and tidied up ready for new panels, which are fabricated for exact replacement
After new panels are fabricated they are welded in place.
A coat of primer, almost good as new!
